Prevalence of hypertension increases with age.1
Primary (essential) hypertension is the term applied to most of the cases in which no cause is identified. I found myself having Stage 2 hypertension (140mm/90mm avg) about 6 months ago, and my cardiologist prescribed Telmisartan 40mg (angiotensin blocker) qd (once daily), which I took for about 5 months. My systolic & diastolic, both dropped by 15-10mm, and I then decided to change over to Homeopathy. I studied about anti-hypertensives as alternative homeo remedies and came across Rauwolfia Serpentina 1x and changed over after tapering down to 20mg.
This remedy is just as effective and my readings are now typically 125/80, which I monitor myself daily. I would certainly recommend this product as an alternative homeo remedy with no adverse effects.
