Clinically it is useful in treating disorders of central nervous symptoms with firing up of nerves producing involuntary movements, convulsions, twitching of muscles and blueness of face.

Mind: Extreme excitement of mind. Tendency to talk too much, followed by drowsiness. Talkativeness ending up in loss of consciousness, with inarticulate and confused speech.

Head: Dizziness which start as trembling, then staggers and fall unconscious. Sensation as if the hair was bristling up. Rolling of eyeballs, pupils dilated, staring and insensible to light. Violent roaring in the ears. Face pale, bluish with cold sweats. Tongue white, swollen, thick and soft with stammering speech. Flow of thick saliva from the mouth.

Respiratory system: Slow, sighing and shallow respiration which gets frequently interrupted. Difficulty in breathing and snoring during sleep.

Urinary system: Increased, frequent urination. Urine brownish red in colour. Urine and stool passes involuntarily.

Extremities: Twitching of hands and feet. Walks as if intoxicated, staggering here and there. Violent convulsions with arms alternately flexed and extended followed by loss of consciousness.

Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
