It has its main action on central nervous system. It is indicated in various nervous disorders including violent convulsions, tremors and weakness of voluntary muscles. It is a remedy indicated in parkinson’s disease. Difficulty in speech. Voice is low and monotonous. It is also given for dysmenorrhea, diarrhea and colic. Easy fatigability. There is occasional uncontrollable laughter. The speech is economical speech. It causes a good deal of painful disturbances in the abdomen with loose stools and has its action on bones too. Pains are of pressing and burning in nature in the parts affected.

Head: Pain in the head especially in forehead caused by pressure with heaviness and heat sensation. Vertigo associated with headache.

Eyes: Violent burning sensation in the eyes.

Ears: A peculiar pressure in the left ear.

Abdomen: persistent stitches in the left hypochondrium, aggravated by inspiration and pressure. There is violent cutting pain in the umbilical region, with thin light stool aggravated by pressure.

Stool: Stool is light colored and thin followed by cutting in the umbilical region. Constipation, stool harder than usual and delayed.

Upper limbs: Prickling in left hand.

Lower limbs: Boring pain in the bones below right knee. Pain is pinching in the right ankle aggravated by standing and motion.

Modalities: Complaints are aggravated bypressure and motion.
