This remedy has a great affinity for iron and it has an action on the blood and has been successfully used in cases of anemia. Ankles are weak. It produces weakness of the eyeballs. It has marked action in ears leading to deafness in damp weather. The pathology in the ears starts with the inflammation in the inner ear and hardening of the ear muscles leading to deafness which is worse during the damp cold weather. Buzzing and whistling sound in the ears. Headache is associated with the complaints in the ear. All the pains from different part of the body settle in the ear. It has its action on bones leading to necrosis and caries which is characterized by digging pains in the night. It is also a remedy for concussion of brain. Cough worse during cold damp weather. Every cold end up in ears. Cough is excited by scratching in the ear. It is remedy for rheumatism of heel. It is indicated in gout. It is also useful in case of jaundice, skin affections and menstrual troubles during menopause in anemic person.

Head: Vertigo when sitting or standing. Painful concussion of the brain, leading to confusion of the senses. Burning and aching pains in the head.

Eyes: Eyes are weak. Eyelids are swollen and painful. Burning heat in the eyes. It is useful in case of shortsightedness.

Ears: Pain in the ears extends from all parts of the body. Pain aggravated from talking, coughing, swallowing and laughing. Buzzing in the ears.

Nose: Obstruction of nose, loss of smell and crampy pain between root of nose and eyebrows.

Teeth: Painful sensitiveness of teeth. Pain in the teeth is very violent extending to other parts especially in morning and evening.

Mouth: Soreness in the mouth and sensation of a hard substance in the palate. Smell of clay in the mouth.

Skin: Pus formation in the skin. Burning and itching in the skin better by scratching.

Fever: Chilliness in evening. Shivering in the evening without thirst. Feverish heat in chest and cheeks. Sweat during night.
