Restless excitability of the mind with weakness of the body. Great desire for sleep. Better at night and after sweat. Useful in cases of constipation especially in cases of white hard stools with difficult evacuation. Perception of sounds and vision were exaggerated.

Mind: Restlessness predominates the mental state. Suits those with an excitable and hysterical temperament. Mind remains in a confused state.

Head: Heaviness of the head. Head feels full and heavy as if the vessels would burst.

Eyes: Pupils appear dilated. Vision blurred and confused.

Ears: All sounds are exaggerated.

Nose: Blockage of nose from nasal discharge.

Mouth: Tongue feels numb and there is tingling on its surface. A peculiar taste remains in the mouth. Sensation of acidity and dryness in the mouth.

Rectum: Difficulty in passing stool. White stools with hardness and pain on defecation.

Respiratory: Hoarseness of voice. Cough with expectoration. Difficulty in breathing with cough and sputum formation.

Generalities: Uneasiness and coldness even after other symptoms disappear. Body feels too weak.

Sleep: Increased desire to fall asleep.

Fever: Shivering in the afternoons. Coldness during sleep.

In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
