It is a homoeopathic potentised medicine prepared from the mineral Magnesium Phosphoricum that is a part of the Biochemical Salts. It is a drug of choice in cases of pain and discomfort especially pains that are made better by heat. It is an antispasmodic medicine.
It is widely used for the management of pain especially cramping pains as in during menses. These pains are better by heat. It is suited to persons of a tired disposition that are exhausted both mentally and physically. There is an inability to think clearly. It is also a remedy for goiter. Toothaches better by hot liquids are helped by this remedy. Both flatulent and menstrual colic are greatly relieved by it.
It is to be taken as an internal medicine. Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. Ears – Treats severe pain which is worse behind the right ear and increases as one goes in cold air or washes the face with cold water. Mouth – As reported, it relieves toothache, ulceration of the teeth with the swelling of glands of the face, throat, neck and tongue, complaints of teething and attacks without feverish signs. Throat – Soreness and stiffness on the right side with swelling and pain all over. Stomach – Constant hiccups day and night with the desire for cold drinks. Female – Treats period pain or when the periods happen early with swelling of the external parts, painful sexual intercourse and burning pain from ovary to the abdomen and thighs. Heart – Pain around the heart, nervous spasmodic throbbing and chest pain caused by decreased blood flow to the heart.
