It has a great influence on blood, bones and glands. It is indicated in case of exostosis, caries, inflammation of glands, heart troubles with palpitations, congestion and collection of fluid in the body cavities as a result of heart problems, high blood pressure, sclerosis of liver, arteries and brain.

Mind: Loss of self-confidence with feeling of self-blaming and worthlessness. Great sadness and hopelessness, with increased blood pressure, complete disgust of life, and suicidal thoughts but fear of death. Gets irritable at the least contradictions. Fear of people, society and crowd. Questions constantly without waiting for reply. Very slow and sluggish in doing a work with extreme sensitivity to noise, touch and pain.

Eyes: Intense photophobia with soreness of eyes. Disturbed visions where the upper half of objects become invisible and sees fiery spots. Inflammation of conjunctiva with congestion of blood capillaries in the cornea and violent, boring pains in the orbit.

Nose: Blockage of nose with pain, inflammation and ulceration. Caries of nasal bones with boring pains at night and thick, purulent and offensive bloody discharges from nose, with fetid smell. Bad odour from mouth and nose.

Heart: Constriction of chest region with sensation as if the heart had stopped beating for a second or two, followed by a rapid and violent rebound and sinking feeling at the epigastrium with severe palpitation. Enlargement of heart with rapid, feeble and irregular pulse and high pressure.

Bones: Exostosis or bony outgrowths and also indicated for decay of bones. Boring pain and soreness in bones of scalp and head, exostosis with nightly pains in bones. Destruction and caries of the bones especially ear ossicles, labyrinthine bones, nasal, palatine and mastoid bones. Small lumps under the scalp from bony outgrowths.

Modalities: Worse in cold weather, in winter, from sunset to sunrise.
