Ammonium Tartaricum Homeopathy
The homeopathic medicine Ammonium tartaricum is prepared from the tartrate of Ammonia, the ammonium salt of tartaric acid, by diluting it with distilled water. Ammonium tartrate is used mainly in the fields of cell culture and chromatography but also widely used in the field of pharmaceuticals such as in the production of effervescent salts, as a coating in oral medications along with citric acid and also in the cough syrups as an expectorant.
Ammonium Tartaricum Uses
Ammonium tartaricum mainly acts on the mucus membranes especially of the gastrointestinal system and respiratory system. The most characteristic symptom of Ammonium tartaricum is the irritation of the mucus linings with redness and swelling. Some of the indications of this remedy are as follows:
