Author: Dr. K. Suwaamynaathan

Abstract
This case report explores the successful treatment of right lower lobe pneumonia in a 68-year-old female patient using the homeopathic remedy Podophyllum. The patient presented with a week-long history of fever, cough with yellowish expectoration, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and general weakness. Initial treatment with Nux Vomica and Arsenicum Album showed no significant improvement. Subsequent treatment with Podophyllum resulted in notable clinical and symptomatic improvements, as evidenced by serial laboratory investigations and X-ray findings. This case highlights the efficacy of Podophyllum in treating pneumonia and underscores the importance of appropriate remedy selection in homeopathic practice.
