Homoeopathy has been in use in veterinary medicine since long. In the Liga Congress last year held at New Delhi, there was a separate session on veterinary homoeopathy with as much as 13 presentations. You will be glad to know that the National Zoological Park at Delhi uses homoeopathy to treat animals. The history of how they have started using homoeopathy and other alternative systems is interesting. It is covered under homoeopathy related news. Apart from the above, there are three more encouraging reports about homoeopathy showing growing trend among the policy makers to involve homoeopathy in the country’s health care delivery. First is launching of a widespread campaign by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to prevent recurrence of malaria. Second is conducting dengue preventive camp series by the Tamil Nadu Government Homoeopathic Medical College. And third is the consideration of including homoeopathy in its dispensaries by the Chennai Corporation following other cities. In addition to these, a piece of news from the Schwabe India’s Sales and Marketing Department throws a light about how the demand for original German quality homoeopathic medicines is increasing.

Fucus vesiculosus is drug often used in mother tincture for thyroid related obesity.
