Abstract: Cervical Spondylosis is a degenerative disorder of the cervical spine commonly occurring due to the collapse of the intervertebral disc space. Cervical spondylosis occurs most commonly in the lowest three cervical intervertebral joints. Homoeopathic medicines help in preventing further progression of the disease pathology. Previous studies have assessed homoeopathic medicine’s role in acute cervical spondylosis. The main aim in this case was to alleviate pain in the early stage and avoid disease pathology from progressing thereby improving the patient’s quality of life. This case was taken to assess the efficacy of homoeopathic medicine for managing acute cervical spondylosis. A 40-year-old female patient presented with complaints of both shoulder pain for 15 days. There was constant dull aching pain with numbness on the left hand. Pain was aggravated by motion, warm air and over-exertion and ameliorated by rest and pressure. There was no record of injury, fall or accident. No history of major illness was noted. On detailed case taking and repertorization of the case, homoeopathic medicine Bryonia Alba was prescribed. This case was successfully treated with selected homoeopathic medicine and further complications were prevented.
