It has marked action on the liver with jaundice. It is given in persistent sleeplessness.

Head: Headache with drowsiness. There is pressure in vertex and forehead. Dull and heavy aching in the temples and forehead on waking in the morning. Stiffness in the nape of neck.

Face: Face is yellow with itching and stinging. There is creeping sensation.

Mouth: Tongue is furred and bad taste in mouth. Nausea with tenacious and thick discharge. Gums are spongy and bleeding.

Throat: Throat is constricted. There is constant desire to swallow.

Stomach: There is bitter taste in the mouth and offensive breath. Loss of appetite. There is fullness feeling in the stomach after a meal.

Abdomen: Pain in the liver region which is dull in character. It is indicated in case of jaundice with bronze yellow skin and loss of appetite.

Stool: There is constant discharge of flatus when walking. The urge for stool is frequent but no stool and passes large amount of flatus. Stools are loose, light colored and no bile.

Urine: Urine is dark yellow in color and frothy.

Extremities: Pain under the shoulder blades and back of neck and in all muscles.

Skin: The skin is yellow and itching due to jaundice. There is sensation of insects crawling.
