It is indicated in syphilis and gonorrheal affections. Ulcers are red with hard edges. It is given in cases of syphilitic affections of the eye especially in new born child. It cures eczema either acute or chronic. Barber itch. Fungal infections.

Eyes: There is redness and congestion of eyes. Eyelids are swollen. It is indicated in eye troubles of new born child with a history of syphilis. There is inflammation of the iris and eyelids.

Face: There is remarkable redness of face and eyes. There is puffiness of the face, lips and cheeks.

Mouth: Gums are inflamed. The tongue is swollen and protruding with two holes. There is decayed cheesy coating inside the mouth. There is sloughing of mucous membrane of cheeks, gums and tongue. Teeth are lost. There is strong mercurial odor from mouth. Burning pains in the mouth and throat. Profuse salivation. The discharge is bloody and saliva smells fetid.

Throat: There is inflammation of the throat and burning like hot ashes.

Stomach: Thirst is unquenchable. Nausea and vomiting. The vomitus is blackish blood and bloody mucus, followed by diarrhea.

Abdomen: pain in the left hypochondrium with distension. Pain is worse on touch.

Stool and anus: There is constant urge for stool. There is constant sensation of a glowing hot iron moving up and down in the anus. There is difficulty in passing stool with much strain, with scanty blood. Diarrhea is violent with cramps. The stools are involuntary, greenish and offensive.

Respiratory organs: There is inflammation and swelling of larynx.
