It is a useful remedy in conditions of venous congestion, haemorrhages, varicose veins, and haemorrhoids, sore, bruised feeling of affected parts, passive venous haemorrhages, painful open wounds and ulcers and weakness from loss of blood.

Eyes: Sore, bruised pain in the eyes with bloodshot appearance from inflamed and injected vessels. Pressure in the eyeballs from intraocular haemorrhage.

Nose: Epistaxis with profuse, passive, non-coagulable bleeding with tightness in the bridge of the nose and fetid odor from the nose.

Throat: Congestion of mucous membrane with distended veins and bluish dicolouration due to varicosity of throat.

Stool: Sore and raw feeling in the anus with haemorrhoids. Profuse bleeding with soreness and pulsation in the rectum.

Female: Congestion and neuralgic pains in the ovaries. Profuse uterine bleeding with bearing-down pain in the back. Dark, profuse bleeding with soreness in the abdomen. Intermittent bleeding from the uterus in between the periods. Tenderness of vagina and itching of vulva with profuse leucorrhea. Soreness of abdomen with spasms of vagina, inflammation of ovaries and sore nipples.

Skin: Varicosity of veins with distended vessels. Chilblains with blueness and inflammations of veins. Reddish haemorrhagic spots under the skin, varicose veins, burns and ulcers. it is also indicated for contusions, bruises and traumatic inflammations and injuries.
Modalities: Worse from warm, moist air.

In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
