It is especially indicated for persons with extreme sensitivity to alcohol and tobacco. It is useful in conditions of fevers with chills and exhaustion. Headache with severe neuralgic pain around the eyes, with chills. Very sensitive and restless.

Head: Pain around the eyes and supra-orbital region especially in the morning. Dizziness on looking at bright objects with ringing in the ears. Periodical headache with flashes before the eyes. Heaviness of head with drowsiness and confusion.

Eyes: Inflammation of conjunctiva with redness and increased tears. Eyelids agglutinated in the morning with intense pain in and around the eyes with marked periodicity. Sensation of sand in the eyes and feeling as if eyes feel too large for the orbit. Heaviness of the eyelids and ulceration of the cornea.

Ears: Buzzing in the ears with dullness of hearing. Sensation as if the ears are blocked after eating with shooting pains in the auditory canal.

Stomach: Increased appetite which is satisfied by eating very little. Very sensitive to alcohol and tobacco with cold sweats and vomiting. Increased thirst satisfied by little amount of water.

Fever: Coldness of the skin with fever. Increased sweat with foul odor. Marked restlessness and periodicity of the symptoms and extreme weakness.
