It is clinically indicated in chronic conditions of rheumatic, arthritic and nervous affections with severe pains in the muscular and fibrous tissues and resulting deformities of the joints, loss of muscle strength, contractures of tendons and skin problems especially warts. Paralysis of vocal cords, muscles of deglutition, of tongue, eyelids, face, bladder and extremities.

Eyes: Opacity of cornea with inflammation of eyelids and ulceration. Partial paralysis of eyelids with speck and spots in front of the eyes. Defective vision, feels as if seeing through a veil. Ocular muscles feels paralysed after exposure to cold air.

Stool: Constipation with soft stool which is sometimes hard and tough, covered with mucus. Difficult to pass stool without straining; stool passed only on standing up. Inactive rectum with sores and burns. Intense itching in the anus with fistula and haemorrhoids.

Urine: Incontinence of urine with loss of sphincter control causing involuntary urination when coughing and sneezing. Dribbling or retention of urine, bed wetting from least excitement. Retention of urine after surgical procedures with loss of sensibility while passing urine.
Respiratory: Loss of voice and soreness of larynx with pain in chest. Cough with scanty expectoration and pain in the hip. Soreness of trachea and chest with much mucus, pain and palpitations of heart. Roaring sounds in the ears with sore throat and aphonia in singers and public speakers.

Extremities: Neuralgic pains in the thighs and buttocks especially on the left side with numbness. Pain and numbness in the joints with weakness and paralysis of single parts. Pain in the arms and hands, with weakness and loss of control of muscles of forearm and hand. Unsteady gait with contracture of tendons, weakness of ankles, cracking in the knees and rheumatic pains in the limbs. Stiffness and burning in the joints and legs restless at night which disturbs the sleep.

Skin: Rawness and soreness in the folds of skin especially the back of ears and the groins with itching. Large, fleshy and bleeding warts especially on the fingers and nose. Burns, ill effects of burns and the wounds which are slow to heal. Infection of old scars , reopening of old injuries and wounds which heals slowly.

Modalities: Worse from dry, cold winds, in clear fine weather and cold air. Better during damp, wet weather and warmth.

Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
