It is indicated in cases of trauma, injuries, overuse of any organ, strains and sprains, cerebral congestion with marked effect on the blood. It affects the venous system inducing stasis and haemorrhages with relaxed blood vessels, black and blue spots.

Head: Chronic sensation of fainting and dizziness with heat in the head and coldness of the whole body. Tension in the scalp with sharp, pinching pains in the head, with confusion of the mind. Sensation as if the objects whirl around while walking.

Eyes: Disturbances in the vision from trauma, muscular paralysis or retinal haemorrhages. Pain with bruised, sore feeling in eyes from straining.

Ears: Buzzing in the ears caused by rush of blood to the head. Pain shooting in and around ears. Weakness of hearing after injury and concussion with bleeding. Bruised pain in the cartilages of ears.

Heart: Pain in the chest which radiates to the left arm with stitches in the heart. Difficulty in breathing with distress in the cardiac region with feeble and irregular pulse. Fatty degeneration and enlargement of heart.

Extremities: Pain in the joints with nodosites. Pain and sensitivity with fear of being touched or approached. Bruised pain in the back and extremities as if beaten. Beaten, bruised, sprained and dislocated feeling all over the body with soreness.

Skin: Bruised feeling all over with black and blue spots. Eruption of small pimples with burning and itching, small boils, raised reddish rashes and bed sores.

Modalities: Worse from least touch, motion, rest and damp cold weather. Better from lying down with head low.
