Skin symptoms resemble psoriasis. Suits those with a history of hepatic troubles. Commonly used in hot and damp climates and made worse by meat and alcohol. Anus feels constricted. Excessive salivation with a sore mouth and throat and difficulty eating are also marked features of this remedy. Weakness with headache and drowsiness. Digestion is slow and pains are of a picking nature. Symptoms generally worse by exercise and after eating.

Mind: Irritation and restlessness. Depression and a low mood.

Mouth: Gums bleed easily. Excessive salivation with drooling at night. Metallic taste in mouth. Gums red and excessive salivation.

Stomach: Sour eructation. Empty hungry feeling in stomach which is not relieved by eating. Evacuation of flatus. Food takes longer to digest.

Stool: Constipated stool, with ineffectual urging. Anus feels constricted, moist and sore. Free yellow stools after breakfast. Desire for stool at 7 p.m. but unable to pass anything as anus feels constricted. Needs to press the coccyx and abdomen with finger to pass but only small quantities.

Urine: Cloudy urine. Burning at urethra. Urging with pain in hips thighs and back. Small quantities of urine pass after a short delay.
