Psoralen and isopsoralen possess the curative action of psoralea in leucoderma internally as well as externally. Seeds are used for deobstruent, as diuretic and diaphoretic in febrile conditions, in leprosy, leucoderma and other skin diseases, for scorpion-sting and snake bite. Recent studies have indicated its antibacterial and antioxidant properties.
