This remedy is particularly indicated in rheumatic and skin symptoms. It produces pain in the muscles and joints of a rheumatic character especially of ankles and wrists. It affects the lumbar bones and produces pain when turning or bending the body. It is also indicated in fevers and gangrenous conditions of skin.
Head: Pain in the forehead which is tearing in character extends to the face.
Eyes: The eyes contain bloody fluid and several livid spots of hard texture.
Face: The face is red with violent tearing pain in the right cheek. The skin of the right cheek has peculiar feeling as though touched here and there with a cold body.
Stomach: The eructations are frequent with no taste. Nausea is with much saliva.
Stool: The stool is copious without pain at 5p.m. and 7 p.m. There are two loose stools in the morning.
Chest: The pain in the chest is tearing in character especially on the right side behind nipple which is aggravated during inspiration.
Back: Pain in the lumbar region comes on when bending or turning the body.
Extremities: The joints are sore with boring and drawing pain in right tibia and elbow. Pain is pressing in the joints of elbow, ankle and knee when sitting. The pain is tearing in the joints of wrist, ankle, shoulder and hi. The legs are heavy and weak while walking and bed in the morning.
Skin: The ulcers are obstinate. The skin of the legs is hot, red, painful, blistered and end up in gangrene.
Fever: The fever presents with intolerable heat and faintness. The fever is associated with intolerable pains in the legs and feet. The head is hot and heavy.
Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
